Seashells in the Snow
I do like to be beside the seaside – in all weathers! Frozen sand is rather odd as is the sight of seashells in the Snow!
Day Trip To Aberdeen
A rare free day for my wife and myself left us with a question of what to do with our time. It turns out Aberdeen is just an hour away on the train and as we had not been for more than ten years, we quickly settled on the northern city as our destination. The train up is very scenic although we had some grey and rainy weather. One of the highlights for me was the Aberdeen Maritime Museum.
East Wemyss Cemetery
BBQ today so no time for a closer inspection of the cemetery in East Wmyss, Scotland. Some amazing looking statues – clearly no clipboard bureaucrats tutting about health and safety back then!!
Photo Experiment : Pocket Telescope Zoom
Inspired by this photo which turned up on Twitter, I experimented with my pocket telescope (8x21mm) and the camera(3.2 Megapixels) on my phone. The photos below were taken next to Carnoustie Golf course – I should point out it was pretty windy so holding the telescope in place over the lens was not easily to do steadily.
